Prior to and during her appointment as Executive and Artistic Director, Mikki Sodergren continues an active career as a performer. Mikki joined the Full-Time Chorus of the Metropolitan Opera beginning in the 2022/23 season. In addition to her chorus work, now spanning over 500 performances, Sodergren has portrayed small roles on the Met mainstage in over 25 performances.

Sodergren was the featured soloist on the 2024 Grammy-nominated recording of Rachmaninoff’s Vespers by the Clarion Choir, performing the work across the Northeast, including Carnegie Hall and internationally in Toronto. Mikki has performed with symphonies around the country and world, including the Asheville Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony, the Washington Bach Consort, the Tel Aviv Chamber Orchestra and many more. Sodergren has curated concerts wtih the Tallahassee Symphony, concert series at the Hilton Head Symphony Sound Waves, and is engaged in similar work for other symphonies.

Ms. Sodergren has toured internationally with the lauded The English Concert - conducted by Harry Bicket - performing in some of the world’s greatest halls including London’s Barbican Theatre, and Paris’ Theatre de Champs Elysées, and has developed new musicals for Disney Theatricals, The National Theatre of Great Britain, and NYU, among others. Ms. Sodergren is the 2014 Winner of the American Traditions Vocal Competition and is proud to represent this organization daily.
